Very nice and all, but how much does it cost?
Clatri runs on credits. Every time you ask the agent for something, credits are deducted based on the actual work it had to do: language models, amount of text processed, tools it ran, documents, audio, web search, or external integrations. A simple message uses few; a complex operation uses more.
There's no fixed equivalence like "1 message = X credits". The real billing unit is the computational work Clatri executes for you.
Subscriptions
There are two plans: monthly and annual. You can buy them on iPhone/iPad, Android, or web — same account, same plan.
The AI credits included in each period are not a fixed contractual amount. They are granted from what you paid on that charge. Monthly credits reset every month; annual credits are granted as a year-long pool at the start of the period and reset every year.
What an active subscription includes
Besides recurring credits, the plan unlocks features exclusive to subscribers. Buying credit packs is not enough: without an active subscription, Clatri refuses them.
- Recurring AI credits — granted on each charge and reset at the start of the next period.
- Documents by email — forwarding and inbound automations.
- Open banking (Plaid) — automatic account connections in the United States and Canada.
- Apple Pay — shortcuts to log taps, Apple only.
- Inviting people to entities or Spaces — creating or reissuing invitations.
- MCP tokens — create, edit, and use the Clatri MCP.
Other features are also reserved for subscribers. If you aren't subscribed and you try to use one, Clatri tells you and offers a plan.
Price depends on where you live
Clatri does not cost the same everywhere. Price is set by purchasing power parity (PPP): in each country or region the plan is billed in local currency at a level meant for that market. A month in Colombia does not cost the same as a month in Germany or the United States.
The numbers on this page — for example ~$16.99 USD per month or ~$120.99 USD per year — are US market reference values. What you actually pay is what the store or the web shows in your country.
Why more expensive places get more credits
AI credits are calculated from the amount you paid, not from a fixed quota per plan. If the plan costs more in your country, that charge is higher and you are granted more credits. If it costs less, you are granted fewer.
That is not an arbitrary bonus or cut. Each AI credit has a real cost for Clatri — models, tools, documents, audio, search — and that cost is the same no matter where you write from. We cannot give credits away: each period's pool has to track what you paid.
The store (Apple, Google) or Stripe on the web also apply their own commissions, taxes, and exchange rates. VAT or other local taxes may be included in the price you see.
Credit packs
If you run out of subscription credits, you can buy additional packs. The credits they grant also depend on what you paid for that purchase — the local price, not a fixed catalog number.

Purchased credits do not expire. They stay in your account until you use them and are not affected by your subscription period reset.
When you make a request, Clatri consumes credits in this order:
- With a subscription — subscription credits for the period are used first. When those run out, purchased credits are used. Trial credits are not on this path: they are for people who have not subscribed yet.
- Without a subscription — purchased credits are used first, then any trial credits still left in your account.
Bank integration with Plaid
If you connect supported banks via Plaid in the US or Canada, each connected account currently consumes:
- 300 credits per month per connected account
Connecting a bank requires two things, not one:
- An active subscription. Buying credit packs is not enough: without a subscription, Clatri refuses the connection.
- Enough credits to cover the account charge.
That cost is charged monthly from your available credits and covers the connection plus the transaction and balance updates Plaid delivers. If you delete your Clatri account, bank connections disconnect automatically.
You can also log movements via chat or upload statements manually when you prefer that flow — bank integration is an option, not a requirement.
Apple Pay (iOS Shortcuts)
Automatically logging Apple Pay taps also requires an active subscription. Without a plan the shortcut still runs and leaves a chat notice; it does not book the payment or consume credits. See Log Apple Pay payments. Each payment the agent does book consumes credits like any other chat turn.
Where the subscription is managed
Clatri does not charge with its own checkout on the phone. Billing is handled by the store or processor you bought from:
- iPhone/iPad: Apple App Store. To cancel, change plan, or see payment history, go to your Apple ID settings → Subscriptions.
- Android: Google Play Store. Open Google Play → your profile → Payments and subscriptions.
- Web: Stripe. From Settings → Subscription, open the billing portal to cancel, change plan, or update your payment method.
Renewals, cancellations, refunds, and plan changes follow that platform's policies. If you cancel, you keep access until the period you already paid for ends.
You cannot manage an Apple or Google subscription on the web, or the other way around: each charge is managed where it originated.
How to monitor your usage
From Settings → Subscription you can see in real time how many credits you have left, how many you've consumed, a breakdown by source and by entity, daily usage analytics, and buy additional packs. You can also review your subscription history.
