Travels
The travels feature covers full trip planning — from destinations to the daily itinerary, travelers, places to visit, and expense tracking. It's the most comprehensive feature in Space and connects directly with Money.
Creating a trip
You tell the agent "planea un viaje a Japón en septiembre" and it gets created with a title, dates, and a first destination. You can also create it from the UI. Each trip has a status (planned, active, completed) and an optional cover image.
Destinations
A trip can have multiple destinations in sequence. If you're going to Japan and visiting Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka, each one is a destination with its own arrival and departure date, city, country, and coordinates. The order is maintained by position.
Travelers
You can add people to a trip in two ways:
- Clatri users — you link directly to another user by their ID. That person can see the trip from their own account
- Manual contacts — you add a name, email, and phone number without requiring them to have a Clatri account
Travelers are automatically linked to the unified contacts system — the same person can appear as a traveler in Space and as a counterparty in Money without being duplicated.
Visibility
Each trip has a visibility mode:
- Entity — all entity members can see the trip
- Members — only the creator and invited travelers can access it
Itinerary
The itinerary organizes the trip's activities by date and time. There are 5 types of items:
| Type | Examples |
|---|---|
| Flight | Bogota → Tokyo, with airline and confirmation code |
| Hotel | Name, address, check-in/check-out |
| Transfer | Bullet train Tokyo-Kyoto, taxi to the airport |
| Restaurant | Name, address, reservation time |
| Activity | Visit a temple, food tour, sushi class |
Each item has a title, start and end time, provider, confirmation code, location, and notes.
Points of interest
Points of interest are spots you want to visit at each destination — attractions, restaurants, hotels, shops. Each one has a name, address, coordinates, category, and notes.
The agent can search for recommendations by city and category: "recomiéndame restaurantes en Kioto" returns options you can add directly to the trip.
Photos
You can upload photos to the trip with captions and ordering. The first photo becomes the trip's cover image in the list.
Connection with Money
Trips connect with your finances in two ways:
- Expense groups — you can link an expense group to the trip. All expenses in the group (flights, hotels, meals, transportation) are associated, and you can see the full trip cost with a breakdown by category
- Accounts — you can link specific accounts to the trip to identify where the money is coming from
If you created an expense group "Japan Trip" in Money and link it to the trip in Space, you have the itinerary on one side and the budget on the other.
